Adam Joyce didn't set out to become an entrepreneur. A former fighter pilot, Adam spent years operating in one of the world's most demanding, high-stakes environments — where pain tolerance and mental toughness are non-negotiable. So when hemorrhoids brought him to his knees, it wasn't just physically devastating. It was humbling in a way he wasn't prepared for. What began as a manageable nuisance escalated into the worst physical experience of Adam's life. At his lowest point, he was completely debilitated — unable to work, unable to function, and consumed by pain that most people would never admit to publicly. He exhausted every over-the-counter remedy, every home treatment, and endured countless humiliating conversations with medical professionals.
Eventually, he reached a breaking point: he began pursuing permanent surgical intervention, convinced it was his only path to a normal life. Then came a discovery that stopped him cold — surgical treatments for hemorrhoids carry a significant likelihood of creating new ones. The medical system, it turned out, had no clean answer.
Rather than continue to accept the status quo, Adam did what entrepreneurs do: he built something better. Aralon™ was founded on the belief that intimate health conditions deserve the same innovation, compassion, and quality that consumers expect in every other area of wellness. Adam built Aralon™ largely on his own — researching formulations, developing the brand, and designing the product experience from the ground up. One pivotal moment came when a VA specialist introduced him to bromelain, an ingredient that became central to Aralon™'s approach. He created a product line that people could be proud to use — and unafraid to buy.
Today, Aralon™ is more than a product — it's a movement to end the shame cycle around taboo health topics. Adam speaks candidly about entrepreneurship, the courage it takes to build in unsexy markets, and the outsized impact that comes from solving problems the world pretends don't exist. His story resonates with founders, healthcare advocates, and anyone who's ever suffered silently when they didn't have to.
